Take this tourism challenge with MiraCosta College students who are studying sustainable tourism...and learn the joys of exploring the beautiful landscape around Oceanside, CA.

How many of these sites do you recognize? Our tourism puzzle is comprised of architectural elements from different Oceanside-area locations...some are famous, and some will be.

Students in the MiraCosta tourism class work in partners to uncover as many of these locations as possible. The Oceanside Welcome Center and the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce have created exciting packages for the winning student team. Their prizes include tourism gifts at great local destinations including the Wyndham Resort and Oceanside Marina Suites.

Students will record their progress by either posting maps or notes on this blog site. The contest ends November 6, 2008.
